Circuit-Breaker and Stay Home, the latest buzzwords. With many non-essential businesses come to a halt, most of us are staying home and we know it's tough to not being able to hang at a cafe with your friends or invite your mahjong khakis over to your place. While business is as usual for us, some of us are working from home and we decided to try the latest make-it-at-home trend - Dalgona Coffee with our pockets of free time. If you are not familiar with it, it is a milk-based beverage topped with foamy whipped coffee. If you are not a coffee drinker, you can substitute coffee with Milo or matcha!
1. Instant Coffee or Coffee powder
2. Milk of your choice
Step 1: The ratio of the ingredient should be 1:1:1, add two tablespoons of instant coffee powder, sugar and boiling hot water into a bowl.
Step 2: Whisk the mixture till it turns light and fluffy. This requires lots of patience and strength, our $2 Daiso whisk didn't quite to the job so we finished it by passing among the family to whisk by hand.
Here's snapshot of a cup of Dalgona Coffee and a vase of beautiful fresh flowers (which is the current best seller!) while we get inspired and ready for our next creation.
Besides experimenting with Milo or Matcha powder, you can add cinnamon or hazelnut powder to your Dalgona Coffee!
