Wedding Flowers in Singapore: What 3,300 Orders Taught Us About Timing
Here is something we have stopped being surprised by: for most couples, flowers are one of the last things sorted before the wedding. The venue took months. The photographer took weeks. The bouquet? That usually happens somewhere in the final week. We know because wedding flower orders have landed in our studio at an average of more than two a day for the past four years. Over 3,300 of them since 2022, and the pattern barely moves: the typical couple orders five days before their delivery date, and about three in ten orders reach us within two days of the big day itself.

Personal flowers are the pieces someone carries or wears, as opposed to venue decor. Our order data makes the shortlist clear. Bridal bouquets lead by a wide margin, followed by boutonnieres, bridesmaid bouquets, and corsages, with hair flowers and flower girl baskets rounding out the tail.

There is no consultation call or quotation cycle unless you want one. That is a deliberate choice: personal flowers should not need a project manager.
When couples actually order, according to our data
We pulled the numbers across every wedding order since August 2022. They tell a consistent story:
- The typical order is placed five days before the delivery date.
- 30% of wedding orders are placed within two days of delivery. More than half arrive within a week.
- Boutonnieres are the most planned item, at a median of ten days ahead. Bridesmaid bouquets are the most last-minute, at a median of four days.
- October and November are our busiest wedding months, in line with the auspicious dates most couples pick. May and June form a second, smaller peak.
Same-day and next-day wedding orders are not edge cases either; nearly one in five wedding orders falls in that window. One bride told us in a Google review that an injury stopped her from making her own bouquet, so she ordered a bouquet and boutonniere from us just 48 hours before her ROM. Both arrived on time. Another picked up a bridal bouquet through our express delivery option in about an hour. We do not recommend cutting it that fine on purpose, but it is good to know the safety net exists.
One honest caveat: if your heart is set on specific stems such as peonies or garden roses, order earlier. Those depend on import seasons and allocations, and two to three months of notice gives us room to confirm availability or steer you to a close alternative. Fresh flowers in Singapore heat, honestly
Our climate is the reason wedding flowers here need slightly different handling than the temperate-country advice you will find online. This is the routine we print on our own product pages, and it is what we would tell a friend:
- Fresh bouquets arrive aqua wrapped, with the stems sitting in water. Keep the wrap on and the bouquet in an air-conditioned room until you leave, and mist the flower heads now and then.
- Remove the aqua wrap just before the ceremony and pat the stems dry so they do not drip on your gown.
- Boutonnieres come in a hydration container. The whole container goes in the fridge until it is time to pin them on.
- Wrist corsages keep best sitting upright in a bowl of water in the fridge, away from the air vent.
- For an early morning gate crash or tea ceremony, we usually deliver personal flowers the evening before, so the flowers are with you before the day starts, not fighting traffic during it.

Fresh is the default for a reason: nothing photographs quite like it.
