Graduation Flowers by University in Singapore

Campus Guide

After years of delivering graduation bouquets to campuses across Singapore, we know the practical realities: ceremony timings shift, handover points change, and the bouquet that looks best in photos is not always the easiest to carry between locations. This guide highlights confirmed upcoming ceremonies, practical delivery points at major university and polytechnic campuses, and bouquet choices that hold up through a long convocation day.

Upcoming September and October 2026 Convocations

Dates last checked 1 September 2026

Graduation season isn't over yet — these are the ceremonies still to come in September and October, and this stretch is busier than most people expect: about one in six of the graduation bouquets we've delivered since 2022 went out in these two months. Universities do occasionally move things around, so give the ceremony page linked on each card a quick check before you settle on a delivery date.

Curtin University Singapore

21 September 2026 · 2:30pm to 4:30pm · The Star Theatre, 1 Vista Exchange Green

The ceremony runs 2:30pm to 4:30pm, and graduates are asked to arrive about two hours early for registration, gowning and studio photography. That makes the morning the safest window: deliver to the graduate's home before they leave, or arrange a handover outside The Star Theatre before the midday arrival rush. Waiting outside the theatre after 4:30pm also works well for post-ceremony photos.

Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT)

12 to 16 October 2026 · SIT Punggol Campus, 1 Punggol Coast Road

SIT's convocation week runs Monday to Friday with morning, afternoon and evening sessions (10:00am, 2:00pm and 5:30pm), so state the exact day and session on your order. The Punggol campus is large and new to most drivers: name the building or hall, agree a meeting point with the graduate, and include their mobile number. Punggol Coast MRT is the landmark drivers know.

Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS)

13 to 15 October 2026 · Suntec Singapore, Level 6, Halls 603 and 604

SUSS holds eight sessions across three days, so state the exact ceremony date and session on your order. Deliver to the Suntec venue, not the Clementi campus, and arrange the handover before hall entry or after the ceremony.

JCU has one October graduation date at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre. Include the ballroom and level in the address, then confirm the registration time with the graduate before selecting a delivery slot.

Graduation Day Delivery Tips

  • Order early — most people don't. Over half of our graduation orders are placed within two days of delivery, and one in six is same-day. It works, but ceremony-morning slots fill first, so a day or two ahead is the comfortable play.
  • Name the campus and building. Universities have several venues, so a clear address prevents handover confusion.
  • Share the ceremony timing. Flowers are best arriving 30 to 60 minutes before the ceremony starts.
  • Think about portability. A medium, well-built bouquet carries more easily through ceremonies and photos than an oversized arrangement.
  • Home delivery works too. If campus coordination is tricky, send to the graduate's home before or after the ceremony.

Planning Your Delivery Timing

Getting the flowers there on time matters as much as the bouquet itself. Three details make convocation day delivery easier to coordinate.

Morning ceremony? Deliver the day before

Morning sessions leave little room for a same-day delivery to reach the graduate before hall entry. For a ceremony before noon, delivery to the graduate's home the evening before is usually the safer plan. Keep the bouquet in a cool room with its water source intact until it is time to leave.

Give the exact campus, building and handover point

Campuses and event venues are large, and an institution name alone can delay the handover. Include the building or hall name, the level where relevant, a clear meeting point and the graduate's mobile number so the driver can call on arrival.

Choosing the Right Graduation Bouquet

Rather than guess, we counted: every order since August 2022 whose card message names the graduation — more than 3,100 orders. Two questions dominate, so here is what graduation buyers actually choose.

What flowers to get for graduation

The single most-ordered graduation bouquets are sunflower designs — our top graduation seller is a sunflower bouquet (Bright Smile), and about a third of graduation orders include sunflowers. They are hardy through a long ceremony day, instantly readable in photos, and carry the pride-and-warmth symbolism the day calls for. Roses are the quiet workhorse: just over half of graduation orders include them, almost never as formal red dozens — they ride inside bright mixed wraps, alongside carnations in about a third of orders. Tulips (about one order in eight) suit a cleaner, more modern look. And about a quarter choose preserved or dried arrangements such as Eternal Khaki — the keepsake option that outlasts the ceremony by years.

What colour flowers for graduation

Convocation photos are mostly black gown, dark stage and harsh hall lighting, so warm brights win: sunflower yellow, orange, coral and hot pink all hold their colour on stage and in group shots. White-heavy bouquets look elegant outdoors but can wash out under hall lights, and deep reds read formal rather than celebratory. A simple trick that always lands: pick up the colour of the graduate's hood or faculty sash in the wrap or ribbon.

Graduation bouquet ideas that survive the day

  • The classic: a sunflower-led bouquet in a bright wrap — the photo-safe default that suits every faculty.
  • The keepsake pair: a fresh bouquet for the ceremony plus a small preserved arrangement that stays on the shelf long after.
  • The photo bouquet: medium-sized and well-built beats oversized — it has to survive hours of carrying, hugging and handing around.
  • The group gift: friends splitting one statement bouquet get more flower for the money than three small ones.

Browse the graduation flowers collection for styles suited to convocation gifting, and see the delivery schedule for timing and slots.

Flower shares are order-based counts from card messages naming the graduation, August 2022 to August 2026, rounded — a floor, not a census, since not every order carries a message. A bouquet with several flower types counts toward each, so shares add to more than 100.
